PERSPECTIVES OF ROCCARAINOLA
February 26th 5:00 p.m. Pacific time / 8:00 p.m. Eastern time - Please join Dr. Ilaria Serra of Florida Atlantic University and Italian Portland on Zoom to hear from Nicoletta D’Avanzo Sorice and Antonio Russo about their experiences growing up in the small town of Roccarainola, Italy. Roccarainola is a province of Naples and is affectionately known to the locals as “Rocca.” Nicoletta and Antonio both grew up speaking Neapolitan and although they never knew each other while living in Rocca they ended up with similar emigration experiences, and they have both written books about their journeys. A chance meeting brought them together and they have now shared stories.

ITALIAN CULTURE SOCIAL GROUP
Join us for an Italian Culture Social Group meet-up to enjoy a sense of community and socialize with your Italian amici and all who are interested in Italian culture! We meet the second Tuesday of each month at The Community at Marquis in Tualatin. (19805 SW Boones Ferry Rd, Tualatin, OR 97062)

ITALIAN PORTLAND BOOK CLUB
The Italian Portland Book Club is an 🇮🇹 Italian themed book club where we read books written in English with Italian themes. The book club is held via Zoom on the third Thursday of each month from 6:30-7:30pm. Zoom links are sent prior to each meeting. See our cannoli ratings below.
